STEP 1

Place the ball on the hole at the end of the timing channel.

STEP 2

Stand at the other end and get ready to stamp on the board and flick the ball into the air - be ready to catch and make sure you watch the ball.

 (try not to giggle too much!)

STEP 3

This time stand at the high end, but take the ball with you.  Start the ball rolling down the timing channel - keep watching until it reaches the end - stamp on the board  and flick the ball into the air. Try to catch it.

Do not try to flick too soon or it will not work and if you are too slow it will run off the end. You have just tested your timing skills. How did you do?

STEP 4

Now you are ready to get a bat and learn to hit the ball. So, Time it! - Flick it! -  Hit it! Now go back to step 1 and start all over again with the smaller balls. Have hours of fun with your KikaFlik! Older children using the KikaFlik Zaggyboard can practice for baseball, tennis, cricket, squash, badminton etc.  Go outside and practice kicking, hitting, batting, heading, aiming at a target. You can use a soccer ball, cricket ball, baseball etc.

TIP. Only use 1 foot to stamp on the high end of the board, don't jump on it. After you stamp, keep your foot on the board for a moment before moving to catch it or hit the ball.
